Emsona Music Portal Tullamore
Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada
Collaborative Music Project
The Emsona Music Portal Tullamore - Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada collaborative music project aims to offer a dynamic music-making experience for primary school aged learners to interact, create, and perform together with professional and amateur musicians as a community of music.
This project provides an opportunity to share experience and knowledge through observation and discussion of a collaborative artistic event and the process of its development. The project will engage classroom choirs and traditional instrumentalists from Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada, a primary school based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, in performance with the internationally acclaimed ConTempo Quartet and local community choir, Le Chéile.
ConTempo Quartet

“I find a real immediacy in the bright, exaggerated extroversion of the ConTempo Quartet’s music-making which is as unusual and as refreshing as it is pleasurable."
